Actress Lizzy, a former member of After School, has edited her ambiguous post.
Lizzy posted a photo on her Instagram at 1 a.m. on Mar 10th with a caption saying, “Hi/Goodbye, my life.” The uploaded photo shows Ariel, the main character of the Disney animation “The Little Mermaid,” smiling.
Netizens who saw this ambiguous post commented, “Something is weird,” “I’m worried,” and “What’s going on?” Since then, her SNS posts have been reported on a number of media outlets.
As Lizzy was finally aware of this, she edited the post 18 hours after uploading it. The caption was changed to a bright atmosphere of “Hello to my life in the newly expected 2022 hahahaha.“
Lizzy said, “I think there is a misunderstanding because it was interpreted a little differently from what I was trying to say,” adding, “Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’ is one of my favorite characters and I posted her because she is pretty. I’m sorry for making you guys worry about nothing,” she explained.
In May last year, Lizzy hit a taxi that was in front of her near the southern end of Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At that time, Lizzy’s blood alcohol concentration was known to be 0.08%, which is the level that can lead to license cancellation.
Lizzy was fined 15 million won in the first trial. Admitting all the charges, she apologized, “I’m really disappointed and ashamed of myself, and this is a shame for me all my life.”
