This celebrity publicly apologized to actor Joo Jong-hyuk, who is recently famous for his appearance in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”

Comedian Yang Se-chan made an apology letter dedicated to Joo Jong-hyuk for looking so much like the actor.

JTBC’s entertainment program “Talkpawon”, which aired on the afternoon on August 20th, showed the cast members talking about celebrities who look like them.

Jeon Hyun-moo started the broadcast as he said, “I think there is one person who needs to apologize first”. He then pointed to Yang Se-chan, saying “This is the person who broke the viewers’ immersion in the hit drama ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’”.

He continued, “A netizen commented, ‘Whenever I saw actor Joo Jong-hyuk, who appeared in the drama as Tactician Kwon Min-woo, I thought of Yang Se-chan so I couldn’t watch it seriously’.”

When photos of Yang Se-chan and Joo Jong-hyuk were shown on the screen, many cast members were surprised by the similarities in the two’s appearances, saying that Yang Se-chan and Joo Jong-hyuk look so much alike that they can’t distinguish them.

Yang Se-chan confessed, “I recently went to a restaurant to eat and the people there told me, ‘I’m enjoying the drama’. I wondered ‘What drama?’ and I just answered them ‘Yes yes’. It turned out that they were talking about ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’.”

Yang Se-chan then made a video letter and publicly apologized to Joo Jong-hyuk, saying “I’m sorry. Joo Jong-hyuk, I’m very sorry.”

In an interview released later, Joo Jong-hyuk said, ‘Se-chan hyungnim, if there is a chance, please give me a hug”, drawing attention with his cool appearance.

Actor Joo Jong-hyuk of ENA’s drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, which ended on August 18th, once became a hot topic as he was pointed out as Yang Se-chan’s lookalike. Some viewers shared Yang Se-chan’s picture on online communities, saying “This comedian comes to my mind whenever I see Joo Jong-hyuk”. Many netizens agreed with this comment.

Meanwhile, the cast of the show, including, Jeon Hyun-moo, Kim Sook, Lee Chan-won, Alberto Mondi, and Tyler Rasch, also revealed their lookalikes. 

Lee Chan-won confessed that he resembles comedians Heo Kyung-hwan and Yoo Sang-moo. Alberto said, “I look like a Jindo dog”, drawing laughter. Tyler mentioned the character Olaf in “Frozen”, while Jeon Hyun-moo and Kim Sook admitted that they resemble each other, making everyone at the filming site burst into laughter.
