Recent news about actor Park Seong Hoon and actress Ryu Hyun Kyung, who publicly announced their relationship back in 2017, was uploaded online and attracted attention.
Instead of posting direct lovestagrams, Park Seong Hoon and Ryu Hyun Kyung revealed that they are a couple by using their own SNS IDs. In particular, Park Seong Hoon used “boxabum” as his Instagram handle (“Box” is the name of his dog), while Ryu Hyun Kyung’s Instagram ID is “boxumum” (Box’s mom).
Each of the two boasted their strong relationship via photos of themselves taken with the dog “Box”.
Park Seung Hoon and Ryu Hyun Kyung became lovers after collaborating in the 2016 theatrical play “Almost, Maine”. In March 2017, they admitted to be dating, and started to show their affection in public.
At the 2018 KBS Drama Awards, Park Seong Hoon drew attention by mentioning his lover in his award acceptance speech, saying: “I am also sincerely grateful to actress Ryu Hyun Kyung, who has given me great strength.”
As of the moment, the couple have been dating for 6 years. Their age gap is 2 years, with Ryu Hyun Kyung having turned 39 years old this year and Park Seong Hoon being 37.
Recently, Park Seung Hoon confirmed to appear in the new Netflix drama “The Glory”, penned by famous screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. He will work together with leading cast members Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, and Im Ji Yeon.
Meanwhile, Ryu Hyun Kyung is scheduled to appear in the SBS drama “Cheer Up”, which will air in the second half of 2022.
