In the 12th episode of the series, the candidates for the Crown Princess position were revealed, and a selection was conducted. Here, actress Jo Ah Young emerged as the Chief Royal Secretary’s eldest daughter, and drew attention with her upright and sincere appearance.

The same episode showed Queen Im Hwa Ryeong (Kim Hye Soo) hiding in a fabric shop and observing the natural appearance of the candidates. She then showed interest in a particular girl, who was quietly arranging the disheveled clothes amidst other arrogant and immature noble daughters.

This girl is none other than the eldest daughter of the Chief Royal Secretary. She was also said to be a strong contender to become the Crown Princess due to her good figure, excellent academics, and kindness towards people surrounding her, to the point of doing embroidery for her maid.

In addition, she showed a polite attitude from start to end, but refused to sit on her cushion, drawing the attention of King Lee Ho (Choi Won Young).

When inquired about this action, she gave the filial answer that she couldn’t bear to sit on the cushion due to her father’s name being written on it. At the same time, she also showed extensive knowledge by answering without hesitation questions about the seven evils, making everyone smile with satisfaction.

Despite her role having limited screen time, actress Jo Ah Young greatly contributed to the K-drama with her portrayal of a noble lady that has everything from appearance to knowledge and class.

Jo Ah Young, whose presence shines with lovely charms and solid acting skills in each work she appeared in, started acting with minor roles in 2014, when she was in middle school.

After that, she appeared in series such as “I Wanna Hear Your Song”, “The World of My 17”, “The Girls on the Phone”, and “Can You Deliver Time? 2002”,
