This actor was mistaken to be a criminal at a premiere because he acted so well

An actor, who is going to star in the LG U+ entertainment show “Do You Wanna Try Dessert”, is so good at acting villains that people thought he was a criminal.

The LG U+ new entertainment program “Do You Wanna Try Dessert’, which will be broadcast for the first time on December 22nd, will feature 4 villain actors Ahn Gil Gang, Jung Hae Kyun, Shin Seung Hwan, and Ji Seung Hyun, who enter the dessert world, which boasts sweet tastes and delicate visuals.

All 4 actors are known for their sharp and rough images, stable acting skills, and villainous roles.

In particular, the eldest Ahn Gil Gang boasts strong charisma, Jung Hae Kyun is known for his psychopathic impressionist acting, Shin Seung Hwan has a crazy presence with a wide acting spectrum, and Ji Seung Hyun, the youngest, often plays intelligent villains.

Via “Do You Wanna Try Dessert”, these 4 men are expected to show unexpected charms that are unlike their usual “vicious images”. At the same time, the actors will enjoy various desserts with colorful visuals to properly express their never-seen-before cuteness.

Talking about the entertainment show, the production team of “Do You Wanna Try Dessert” said, “The world of desserts, which boasts enchanting tastes, and are so beautiful that you can think of them as works of art, is not solely reserved for the younger generation.”

They also revealed a sweet intention by adding, “I wanted to include desserts that all generations, including so-called ‘old men’, can enjoy together in this program.”

In particular, the team made the decision to cast actors that specialize in villain roles, as their images are completely opposite to cute and colorful desserts.

The process of these “villains” being reborn as “dessert gourmets” by wandering around in cute cafes and dessert restaurants is expected to draw sympathy from not only dessert maniacs but also viewers from all generations.

Jung Hae Kyun debuted as a theater actor in 1998 and has been on the theater stage for a long time. He received the Grand Prize at the 2003 Cairo International Experimental Theater Festival.

In the meantime, Jung Hae Kyun, who has starred in movies since 2000, made his face known through “Terror Taxi,” “Once Upon a Time in a Battlefield,” “The Last Wolf,” “Shinsukki Blues,” “The Quiet World,” “Killing Time,” and “Dangerously Excited.”

Appearing on MBC’s “Radio Star” in 2016, Jung Hae Kyun said that he could not go to the premiere and had to sit separately because he appeared as the criminal at the end of the movie.

Jung Hae Kyun said that at the time, giving spoilers, such as doing interviews, was prohibited, and that the premiere had to be kept strictly confidential, so he was assigned a different seat from other actors.

He said, “I stood up after the movie, and the audience around me were shocked and said, ‘Whoa!’.” He added that he was even misunderstood as a criminal because his acting was too realistic.

Since then, Jung Hae Kyun has starred in various films and dramas such as “Me and Me”, “The Culprit”, “Along with the Gods”, “Carter”, “Signal”, “Doctors”, “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”, “My Mister”, “100 Days My Prince”, “Kill It”, “Navillera”, “Eve”, etc.
