SF9 is set to return next year with Rowoon joining the group activities, generating hype for the group’s comeback 

Boy group SF9 will return with a new song next year with 6-member formation for the first time since debut. 

According to the E-Daily’s report on the 12th, SF9 will release a new song in January next year and resume their group activities. The group are preparing for their comeback after six months, following the release of their 11th mini-album “THE WAVE OF9” in July, the album of the summer season. 

For the first time since their debut, SF9 is promoting with 6-member formation as Young-bin and In-sung are doing their military service while Rowoon is busy with his drama shooting schedule but will perform along with the group later on. 

Rowoon is an active actor apart from his music activities and has helped popularize the group by starring in several dramas such as “Extraordinary You,” “The King’s Affection,” and “Tomorrow.” HIs return to group activities is expected to build up anticipation for this comeback.

SF9 debuted in 2016 with their single “Feeling Sensation” under FNC Entertainment, company of bands FT Island, CNBLUE, and girl group AOA at the time of their debut. The group was known as FNC’s first boy dance team with fan-favorite songs such as “Good Guy,” “O Sole Mio,” and “Now or Never.”
