“There’ll come a day when I can tell you” Ji Seok Jin expressed complicated feelings through YouTube

Amid the dispute with his former agency, Ji Seok Jin confessed that his YouTube channel is currently 100% owned by him.

On August 9th, a video titled “Long time no see!” was uploaded on Ji Seok Jin’s YouTube channel “Jeeseokjin World”.

In the video, Ji Seok Jin asked for understanding, “Since various situations did not work the way I wanted them to, I couldn’t upload (videos).”

He said, “First of all, I took this channel (from the agency). I became independent. In the past, I actually shared (YouTube) stake with the company. Now this channel is 100% owned by me. I did become independent. I’m independent from now on.”

As of August 11th, Ji Seok Jin’s YouTube channel “Jeeseokjin World” has 580,000 subscribers.

Ji Seok Jin talked about his future plans, “I’ve tried many things. Now I’m thinking about various ideas. I should do something fun. Something useful or fun.”

He continued, “I can’t tell you every single thing. There’ll come a day when I can tell you. But since I’m independent (from the former agency), I’ll have to take care of everything. I’ve been running a YouTube channel for 3 years, and I think I worked really hard.”

He added, “I won’t cross the line. I thought I wanted to have my own clean channel, but some people said ‘Your YouTube channel should have its own individuality’ and ‘YouTube world should be YouTube-like’. I have many things in mind now.“

Ji Seok Jin has been in a dispute with his former agency Uzurocks Entertainment over delay in payment of wages. Actress Song Ji Hyo, who is appearing together with him on SBS’ “Running Man”, was also a member of Uzurocks in the past and is currently filing a lawsuit for unpaid income.
