“The Witch: Part 2” actress Shin Si Ah talks about the comforting support she received from Kim Dami 

Shin Si Ah received advice and encouragement from Kim Dami, “the first witch”. 

On May 24th, at the press conference for director Park Hoon Jung’s upcoming movie “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One”, rookie actress Shin Si Ah opened up about the burden she felt while playing the “new girl”. 

When asked if she was pressured by getting compared with Kim Dami, who became popular after leading “The Witch Part 1 The Subversion”, Shin Si Ah shared her honest thoughts, “Kim Dami unnie acted so well, so I felt a lot of pressure.” She added that she took more responsibility and studied the charm of the new girl character so that it would leave a good impression.

Shin Si Ah revealed Kim Dami gave her a lot of advice. She said with a smile, “She bought me delicious food. She told me, ‘Si Ah, you’re doing well.’ It was comforting and made me feel at ease.” Kim Dami will make a special appearance in “The Witch: Part 2”.

“The Witch: Part 2. The Other One” will be released on June 15th. It is an action film about a girl who is the sole survivor of a devastated secret laboratory and is chased by mysterious forces for different purposes.
