According to overseas media TMZ on August 24 (local time), Mingus Reeves, the son of Hollywood actor Norman Reedus, known for the U.S. drama series The Walking Dead, appeared at the Manhattan Criminal Court on August 23. Court records indicate that he has been charged with assault and related offenses.
Previously, Mingus Reeves was arrested in his Manhattan apartment on suspicion of assaulting a woman. A source told the New York Post that he reportedly punched his girlfriend, strangled her, and threw her to the floor.
This is not Mingus Reeves’ first run-in with the law; he was arrested in 2021 at a festival in New York for assaulting a woman, and in March 2022, he was convicted of public indecency.
Mingus Reeves is the son of Norman Reedus from his marriage with Helena Christensen. Norman Reedus divorced Helena Christensen in 2003 and later remarried Diane Kruger in 2016, with whom he has a daughter, Nova Reedus.
