“The Uncanny Counter 2” drops still cuts showing villains Kang Ki Young & Kim Hieora

“The Uncanny Counter 2” overwhelms drama fans with the explosive tension in still cuts of the villains.

Ahead of its release on July 29th, tvN’s new Sat-Sun drama “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” (directed by Yoo Seon Dong/ written by Kim Sae Bom/ produced by Studio Dragon) unveiled still cuts of Kang Ki Young (as Pil Kwang), Kim Hieora (as Gelli Berherd) and Kim Hyun Wook (as Wong Yeok) on the 27th.

“The Uncanny Counter 2” is a thrilling supernatural hero drama about the Counters, who have been strengthened with new abilities and with the joining of a new member, fighting against the stronger evil spirits on Earth. Based on a popular webtoon of the same name with a refreshing concept of demon hunters, “The Uncanny Counter” series secured the No.1 spot in OCN’s viewership history and emerged as a hit drama.

Amid the heat of Season 2 release, the production team revealed still cuts of villain actors Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Kim Hyun Wook exuding a chilling aura in an elevator scene. In the pictures, Kang Ki Young appears with a cold smile and sharp eyes. He effortlessly manipulates the telekinetic power, becoming the fear of anyone who faces him. With a dangerous smile, Kim Hieora looks at Kang Ki Young’s evil deeds, suggesting that Season 2 will have more creepy and evil behaviors than in Season 1.

Another still cut features a character assumed to be the target of the villains. The villains take the elevator with Lee Min Ji (Hong Ji Hee), the wife of Ma Joo Seok (Jin Sun Gyu). Ma Joo Seok is a passionate firefighter who saved So Mun (Jo Byung Gyu) in the past. Hong Ji Hee’s shocking expression and Kang Ki Young’s chilling gaze as he observes her intensify the suspense and arouse viewers’ curiosity about whether she will become the villain’s target.

Meanwhile, tvN’s new Sat-Sun drama “The Unncany Counter 2: Counter Punch” will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on July 29th.
