Previously, a sasaeng fan has accused ZB1’s Gunwook of flirting with her and published alleged “private messages” between her and the male idol on SNS platform X.
According to said sasaeng fan, Gunwook reached out to her through Instagram and Kakaotalk (a chatting app in Korea), and would often ask her to send him presents. The male idol was also accused of sending the sasaeng fan his company’s address to receive presents and the recipient name, even revealing private schedules.
However, the sasaeng fan got angry because Gunwook eventually “ghosted” her, leading to the decision to leak the chat.
The alleged accusations gained massive attention on Korean forums, as the sasaeng fan included many unreleased images of Gunwook, adding to her “credibility”.
On the other hand, fans of Gunwook have discovered evidence that refuted the claims of said sasaeng, and unveiled her identity to be “김도잉” (Kim Doing).
In particular, an old friend of Doing – @zxokixo2 on X, has revealed the truth by releasing their own private messages with Doing.
These messages show Doing’s intention to “seduce” a member of ZB1, and even claims that she will spread malicious rumors about Gunwook. As a result, Doing has deleted her accusations on X.
At the same time, signs of editing, such as mismatched text bubble sizes and illogical time stamps were found in Doing’s “leaked messages”, and the photos published by this sasaeng fan were revealed to have been from a staff’s SNS.
