The scale of the private plane that BLACKPINK took for their world tour

BLACKPINK carried out overseas concerts through a private plane.

On March 3rd, 4 BLACKPINK members boarded a plane to Malaysia and returned to Korea on March 5th. After finishing the concert schedule on March 4th, they returned home on the morning of March 5th, so it was almost 2 days and 1 night.

In order to be ‘in the east and in the west’, these days, BLACKPINK has been using a private plane to carry out overseas concert schedules. It is for this reason that their departures and returns are made through the Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center, which is used by the heads of conglomerates rather than Incheon Airport.

BLACKPINK is known to use the world’s largest business jet. It has seating for 14 people and is equipped with a TV and a bedroom for video conferencing. The main customer base is people with high net worth and celebrities, and the amount used is around 20 million won per hour.

In addition, in the terminal of the Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center, which is exclusively for charter flights, there are various checkpoints for immigration procedures, a VIP room, and a waiting room for flight attendants. Since security checks, immigration procedures, quarantine, and customs clearance are all done in one space, all procedures are usually completed in about 10 minutes. BLACKPINK, whose overseas schedules are a daily routine, is using this place to reduce the time it takes for them to go through airport immigration.

The inside of this private plane became widely known to fans as Jennie and other BLACKPINK members uploaded photos of themselves moving to attend luxury brand fashion shows last year on their personal Instagram.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK successfully completed the European Americas tour from the end of last year to the beginning of this year. They will hold an Asian tour in Taiwan and the Philippines in March, and complete the schedule at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ in the US in April. After that, with concerts  in Mexico and schedules in Australia confirmed in detail, BLACKPINK’s popularity is expected to cover the world.
