The reason why Han Ga-in felt betrayed by Kim Soo-hyun when filming “Moon Embracing the Sun”
Actress Han Ga-in revealed the behind-the-scenes footage of MBC’s drama “Moon Embracing the Sun” and made everyone laugh by saying that she felt betrayed by her co-star Kim Soo-hyun at the time.
Han Ga-in appeared on SBS’ “MMTG” on Jan 27th.
In the video that day, Han Ga-in explained about scenes in “Moon Embracing the Sun“, which was loved the most among her filmography.
Han Ga-in said that it was cold at the time of filming. She recalled, “It was so cold during shoots. Look at how swollen my face was.”
Han Ga-in explained, “It was hard as if Yeon-woo was a bit exhausted after filming the scene in which her memories returned. The blood circulation was so bad that my face got swollen throughout the work.”
As Han Ga-in played a low-status role, she had no place to live and had to walk around mountains in the cold weather. When she wore a lot of clothes, her body swelled even more because the blood circulation was interrupted.
The actress also recalled that when she entered the folk village, she would park her car far away, but she could not rest in the car, so she used to sit in the bathroom. It was hard because of the extreme cold.
Han Ga-in entered the palace for the first time in the last episode. She explained that she felt betrayed by Kim Soo-hyun at the time.
The reason was that the inside of the palace was too warm. Since Kim Soo-hyun played the role of a king, he was filming in a warm palace every time.
Han Ga-in made everyone burst into laughter by saying, “I couldn’t believe he had been living in a place like this. I just felt betrayed.”
In particular, Jung Il-woo, who participated in “Moon Embracing the Sun” together with Han Ga-in, gave her advice, “Sister, you must play high-ranking roles when filming historical dramas.“
Regarding this, Han Ga-in added fun by sharing, “So (in the future), if I continue to do historical dramas, I’m going to make a big fuss. I’m not going to do below this.”
