Rosé, a member of BLACKPINK, is attacked with malicious comments for not posting happy birthday messages on time.
On March 27th, the birthday of Lisa, another member of BLACKPINK, thousands of comments were posted on Rosé‘s Instagram, demanding the reasons for “Why don’t you celebrate Lisa’s birthday?”
They repeatedly used phrases such as “We will never forget this day” and called Rosé a “Fake friend.” Along with this, they posted negative emoticons such as vomiting, defecation, snakes, and the middle finger to criticize Rosé.
These comments also pointed out that her birthday wish contrasts with other BLACKPINK members Jisoo and Jennie, who posted their wishes as soon as Mar 27th came. Jennie celebrated Lisa‘s birthday through her Instagram story while Jisoo also showed off their friendship by leaving a comment on Lisa‘s Instagram post saying, “OMG, a Princess.”
Rosé, who is currently staying in the U.S. and working on her schedule, celebrated Lisa‘s birthday through her Instagram story on Mar 27th, ending rumors of discord. After Rosé celebrated Lisa‘s birthday, the malicious comments waves also stopped.
Lisa, a Thai national, is a member of BLACKPINK and is 24 years old this year. In January 2019, she surpassed singer Taeyeon to become the No. 1 Korean female celebrity in term of Instagram followers.
