The reason why another drama of Song Hye-kyo is receiving criticism although its filming has not started yet

K-Drama fans are expressing their disappointment with Song Hye-kyo’s upcoming project.

In 2020, Song Hye-kyo announced her appearance in 2 TV series, “Now, We Are Breaking Up” and “The Glory”. While SBS’s drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” proceeded as planned and has already been aired, “The Glory” has been delayed several times and it is still unknown when its filming will begin.

On Jan 3rd, the producer of “The Glory” announced that the filming will begin in January and its official broadcast has been scheduled to air in the middle of this year. However, netizens still complained about the illogical plan of the drama producer.

According to the initial announcement, “The Glory” was set to be released in 2022. However, the producer later announced to postpone their plan to 2023. The broadcast schedule of this drama, which is written by famous screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, continued to be changed. Though it seems like “The Glory” would be premiered earlier, fans still poured out criticisms towards the production team for their inconsistency in planning that might affect other projects of Song Hye-kyo.

Regarding “The Glory” project, this drama will have 8 episodes. Song Hye-kyo will play the main character who dreamed of becoming a lawyer but was bullied to the point that she had to drop out of school. In other to take revenge on the bullies, she made a detailed plan and waited until those bullies got married, then she will become the home teacher of the bullies’ children. “The Glory” will depict a sad and dark story of terrible revenge on the evils and the bystanders who ignored the bullying in the past.

At the moment, fans are paying lots of attention to this new project because Song Hye-kyo’s ongoing drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” is not as successful as expected.
