The most-hated Korean actress Kim Min Hee and her lookalike with a way less scandalous life

A Korean actress is being called not only “mini Kim Min Hee” but also “the daughter of Netflix”. 

To Korean actors and actresses, bearing the same looks as a famous senior can be either a blessing or a curse, seeing that they can gain free public recognition, but at the same time may struggle to overcome the senior’s shadow. For Kim Min Hee and her lookalike Go Min Si however, things are learning towards the former scenario. 

Upon debut, actress Go Min Si quickly drew attention for her classic beauty and vibe that resembles the renowned Kim Min Hee. Overtime, she has also been earning the love of fans and netizens through her famous works, such as “The Witch 1”, “Secret Boutique”, “Youth of May”, and “Jirisan”. She also got the nickname of “Netflix’s Daughter” after starring in the two Netflix  originals “Love Alarm” and “Sweet Home”. However, little do people know, Go Min Si is also a talented director who won the grand prize Daesang at the Three Minutes Film Festival. 

Despite being quite the rookie on the acting scene, Go Min Si can surely impress with her numerous accomplishments, ranging from Best Supporting Actress at the 2018 Grand Bell Film Awards, Best New Actress at SBS Drama Awards, and Best Actress in a miniseries for her role in “Youth of May”. These prizes are true testaments to Go Min Si’s bright prospects for the future. 

However, compared to the senior she’s always compared with, Go Min Si has a long way to go. Actress Kim Min Hee has won Best Leading Actress at both Baeksang Arts Awards and Blue Dragon Film Awards, and has also been named at the Berlin International Film Awards. Many audiences hope that Min Si will be able to follow these footsteps, but stray away from scandals, something which Kim Min Hee is famous for.
