The Meaning Behind ASTRO Moonbin’s Weverse Banner Photo, Posted 2 Days Before His Passing  

ASTRO member Moonbin was found dead on April 19th. Recently, the banner photo he chose for his Weverse profile, has been highlighted.

ASTRO Moonbin joined the fan community Weverse on April 17th, just two days before his death.

When he first joined Weverse, Moonbin chose a group photo of ASTRO as the banner photo for his profile. He also attracted attention by choosing a complete group photo of six members, including himself, Sanha, Cha Eun Woo, Jinjin, MJ, and Rocky, who recently left the group.

The meaning of the photo that Moonbin chose was revealed after his death. Fans later discovered that this photo was posted on Moonbin’s Instagram on November 20, 2019.

At the time, Moonbin wrote “My everything, my all” as the caption for the photo on Instagram, and added hashtags for “ASTRO” and “AROHA” (ASTRO’s fandom). It gives a glimpse into how much ASTRO meant to Moonbin during his lifetime and how sincere he was.

As of the afternoon of April 20th, fans from all over the world are mourning Moonbin in the comments of this post. Fans who use various languages such as Korean, English, Spanish, and Thai are mourning the late idol through comments.

On the other hand, Moonbin was found dead at his home around 8:10 p.m. KST on April 19th. He was 25 years old. ASTRO members who received the unfortunate news and Moonbin’s younger sister, Moon Sua, are guarding the funeral hall. The funeral will take place on April 22nd.
