“The Marvels” director Nia DaCosta and production team shared stories about Park Seo Joon’s character in the movie.
Total Film magazine recently published an interview with “The Marvels” director Nia DaCosta and Marvel Studios’ Director of Production and Development Mary Livanos.
Through the interview, Nia DaCosta emphasized, “The biggest difference from the other MCU movies to date is that ‘The Marvels’ is really wacky and silly. The worlds we go to in this movie are worlds unlike others you’ve seen in the MCU.“
She continued, “It was really important to me that every planet felt like a completely different space in terms of color, lighting, and just energy because if you have the entire universe at your disposal, the planets can’t feel the same. That’s one that is very much high-key, colorful, and bright.”
In particular, she also gave spoilers about Park Seo Joon’s character. In the previously released trailer, a scene in which actor Park Seo Joon is dancing with Captain Marvel appeared, drawing attention to his performance in the work.
Accordingly, Nia DaCosta explained, “Park Seo Joon’s character is really awesome, and it’s really fun when you realize his relationship to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).”
Livanos raised expectations by saying, “He’s a definite ally to Captain Marvel. Someone from her past that is meaningful as a friend to her, and so he and his people are important to Captain Marvel.“
Meanwhile, the movie “The Marvels” is scheduled to be released on November 10th. Park Seo Joon is known to play the role of Prince Yan, Captain Marvel’s husband, in “The Marvels”.
