In particular, Halle Bailey responded to a hate tweet accusing her of lying and gaslighting people of her pregnancy, saying, “I never lied or even said anything about it honey”.
“Making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went. I’ll never understand why you are mad. I protected my own peace, wouldn’t you do the same? And i’m gonna share my pics now if i want to because my son is here safely, if u don’t wanna see it just keep scrolling baby”, the actress also added, in response to the hater’s claim of her oversharing after giving birth.
She also replied to another netizen who told her to stop sharing photos of her pregnancy, saying, “If you don’t care why are you responding then, sweetheart? Just don’t care by living your best life and not commenting on mine.”
Meanwhile, back in November last year, after a netizen pointed out that Halle Bailey seemed to have a “pregnancy nose”, the actress was furious.
At the time, Halle Bailey shared a video saying “Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s going to be hell to pay”, adding that she love her nose because she’s black and telling people to leave her alone, questioning why they care about her nose.
In September of last year, Halle Bailey was also accused of intentionally hiding her baby bump by wearing a belly covering dress at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Later on on January 6, Halle Bailey shared about the birth of her son Halo, which she has with her long-term boyfriend DDG.
As Halle always donned outfits covering her stomach and never said a thing about her pregnancy, many people attacked her for “lying”.
