India is the second most populated country in the world after China with a population of 1.4663 billion as of 2022. In particular, its OTT market has grown rapidly in the past few years and it is considered a fiercely competitive area for global and local streaming companies. The fact that India was considered a “Hallyu barren land” where it was not easy for Korean content to enter due to the domination of local pop culture and Western culture amidst the global K-content craze in recent years, the confirmation of the Indian drama remake has become more meaningful.

Meanwhile, “Flower of Evil” tells the story that begins when the wife suspects her husband, whom she has loved for 14 years, of being a serial killer. The drama opened a new horizon for the “suspense melo” genre by tightly connecting thrilling events that make it impossible for you to let your guard down even for a single moment and the characters’ dense emotional lines.

It is a work that captivated the viewers both in Korea and overseas by presenting a perfect combination of the screenwriter’s unpredictable storyline, the director’s unrivaled sense, and the actors’ passionate acting performances.
