“The Good Bad Mother” gains huge rating boost thanks to Lee Do Hyun’s powerful transformation

The Good Bad Mother” continues receiving much attention in the third episode, with a viewership rating of 5.7% nationwide, reaching a new peak.

In this episode, Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) wakes up from a tragic car accident that turned him into a person with a mind of a 7-year-old. Kang Ho moves back to live with his mother, Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran), who is now his main caretaker. Hurt to see her child this way and having learned her lesson, Young Soon is ready to help her son recover as well as start their relationship anew.

After watching the third episode, Lee Do Hyun continued receiving a round of applause from the audience. They recognize his versatility on-screen and are overwhelmingly impressed by his embodiment of a 7-year-old. The “Youth of May” star managed to bring a natural and adorable child image onto the screen. Now having the mind of a 7-year-old, Kang Ho is naïve, childish, and temperamental. Yet, He is also resilient and obedient to his mother.

The feeding scene gains particular attention. After the accident, Young Soon has to work extra hard to feed her son or make him work his limbs. The struggle and resistance leave a strong impression on the audience as it expands on the mother-son dynamics early on in the drama.

Moreover, a shocking detail was revealed. It turned out Kang Ho’s fiancée, Ha Yeong (Hong Bi Ra), was the one that caused the accident. With a new secret unveiled, netizens are left on edge to see how the relationship between Kang Ho, member of the National Assembly Oh Tae Soo, and Woobyeok Group CEO Song Woo Byeok, will turn out.
