In particular, Kim Eun Sook drew attention when she mentioned the feelings of Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il), which gained divided reactions among netizens. Since “The Glory” was released, viewers have raised discussions on the real reason why Ha Do Young did not abandon Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon).

When asked “How about Do Young’s feelings for Dong Eun?”, Kim Eun Sook said, “He says that he doesn’t know although he hates saying that. I think that line conveys his feelings pretty well.”

In the drama, there is a scene where Ha Do Young meets Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) and said, “I hate to say I don’t know, but I don’t know yet. I just realized that I’ll never leave her. So let’s meet again”.

Regarding the scene, Kim Eun Sook explained, “He’s only useful to Dong Eun if he’s still Yeon Jin’s husband. If he leaves Yeon Jin, he has no reason to meet Dong Eun. He wasn’t sure how he felt about her back then. I think it’s when he was having triangle gimbap that he realized that he liked her. He’s nice enough to leave quietly but he’s a jerk who pushed Jae Joon”.
