“The Glory” Lim Ji Yeon “I exchanged slaps with Song Hye Kyo and our faces swelled up”

Lim Ji Yeon revealed an anecdote about filming “The Glory” with Song Hye Kyo.

Fashion magazine Esquire recently posted a video featuring Lim Ji Yeon on their official YouTube channel.

When asked about her hobbies, Lim Ji Yeon said, “Just fitness. I don’t force myself to invest time in exercising, but I really enjoy it. I find weight training fun and just do it like crazy without thinking about anything.”

She went on to boast, “I recently hit 80 kg of deadlift. No one believes me.”

In addition, Lim Ji Yeon introduced her character in Netflix’s original series “The Glory”, saying, “I play Park Yeon Jin. When she was young, she was a girl who had nothing to be afraid of in the world and the instigator of school violence, but bad things she did in the past later came back like a boomerang.”

Lim Ji Yeon said, “It is a genre with a new feel to the point where I can’t say what specific genre it is. It’s the first time I’ve tried a villain role that I’ve been wanting to do, so I hope many people will like it.”

Lim Ji Yeon continued, “It was a real slap exchange in a very important scene where the main character Dong Eun came to see the perpetrators for the first time. Song Hye Kyo and I slapped each other and our faces both got swollen. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the scene where we exchanged slaps with the thought of not making NG because the director told us to do (the slap) properly just once.”
