The enormous “price” of the wedding gift Gong Hyo-jin chose will make you doubt your eyes

The enormous price of rings and watches actress Gong Hyo-jin and singer Kevin Oh set as their wedding gifts is surprising.

On Oct 13th, Gong Hyo-jin posted a photo on her Instagram in which she was receiving a hand kiss from her husband Kevin Oh with a caption saying, “JUST MARRIED!”

The photo also drew attention as it showed the rings and watches they had chosen as the wedding gift. In particular, their wedding gifts were revealed to be products of Piaget, a Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand for whom Gong Hyo-jin is working as an Asian ambassador.

Piaget is a high-end watch and jewelry brand with a deep history of about 150 years since it was established in Jura, Switzerland in 1874.

The gift ring chosen by Gong Hyo-jin and Kevin Oh was found to be Piaget’s “position ring.” Along with one signature diamond, the ring features the “Palace Deco” technique, a specialized goldwork technology of Piaget.

Kevin Oh chose a pink gold diamond ring, and Gong Hyo-jin chose a white gold diamond ring. Both products have 0.02 carats of diamonds, and the prices of these pieces of jewelry on the official website are about 2,000 USD and 2,300 USD, respectively.

The watch they chose is the same brand as the rings, Piaget’s “Polo Date” model. Gong Hyo-jin wore a blue print steel model, and Kevin Oh wore a 18K pink gold green color one. Both straps are made of alligator leather. The price is known to be about 10,500 USD and 27,250 USD, respectively.

The two became an officially married couple after two years of dating. Only close friends and relatives of both families were invited to their wedding, and Gong Hyo-jin’s fellow actresses Um Ji-won and Jeong Ryeo-won were also present.
