The drama that still cannot escape the 0% rating range despite having only 2 episodes left
JTBC drama “Idol: The Coup” (hereinafter referred to as “Idol”) still cannot escape from the sluggish ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company, the drama “Idol”s 10th episode, which aired on Dec 7th, recorded an average audience rating of 0.4% (based on paid households nationwide).
This is the lowest viewer rating record of “Idol” following the 7th episode. “Idol”, which started broadcasting on Nov 8th, has been having a viewer rating of 0.4 to 0.8%, remaining in the 0% range.
The drama “Idol” tells the story of young people who choose to live with all their might for a dream that cannot be achieved only with efforts and a reality without hope.
It contains the story of girl group Cotton Candy, who are practically pushed aside as their junior group Mars succeeds while their group flops pathetically. It was even evaluated that it realistically showed what was happening in the entertainment industry.
In particular, former and current idol members such as Hani from EXID, Exy from WJSN, Solbin from Laboum, and Lee Eun-sang from X1 appeared as actors, which had drawn keen attention.
JTBC drama “Idol” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11 p.m. The drama is a 12-episode series with only two episodes left.
