(G)-IDLE is the 4th generation group with the highest average age of 24.8 years old. Miyeon was born in 1997, drawing attention for her visuals and her almost being a member of BLACKPINK. Apart from that, Shuhua is the youngest at 22 years old. With that large age gap, (G)-IDLE assumes the “elderly” position in the generation 4 idol groups.
aespa – 22,25
In 2020, aespa made a booming noise across K-pop when they debuted under SM Entertainment. The group quickly became one of the most successful groups in4th generation Kpop. Currently, their average age is 22.25 years old. Their youngest member NingNing is now 20 years old.
ITZY – 22
In 2019, ITZY debuted and gained attention for their striking appearances. At the time of their debut, Yuna was only a 16-year-old. Currently, their average age is 22 now that Yuna is 19 years old.
LE SSERAFIM – 21,4

Current trend shows that idols are debuting at a much younger age, resulting in a reduced average age of female idol groups. However, these groups show that, no matter how young they are, they can still achieve major successes.
