Park Seo-joon X Lee Jieun X Director Lee Byung-hun’s long-awaited movie finally crank up!
“Dream” (working title), a new film by national storyteller Lee Byung-hun who won the hearts of 16 million viewers with “Extreme Job,” and starred by Chungmuro’s leading actors Park Seo-joon and Lee Ji-eun, finally cranked up on April 13th after their journey back and forth between Korea and Hungary.
“Dream” is a movie about a soccer player named “Hongdae” (Park Seo-joon), who is facing the biggest crisis in his career, from a special (?) national team’s challenge to the homeless World Cup for the first time in his life.
“Dream,” which will once again bring a pleasant laugh to the theater with its fresh theme of “Homeless World Cup Challenge” and Lee Byung-hun‘s unique sense of humor. The movie is a combination between the trendy actor Park Seo-joon, who has been cast in a Marvel Studios movie and proves himself in Korea through series such as “Itaewon Class”, “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”, and actress Lee Ji-eun, who has starred in “My Mister” and “Hotel De Luna” and is proving herself by being cast in the first Korean movie “Broker” of legendary Japanese director Koreeda Hirokazu.
Director Lee Byung-hun, who finally completed the extraordinary journey of “Dream” after ended the overseas filming schedule in Hungary due to the prolonged pandemic, said, “It’s a result of our hard work at overseas locations for a long time, and I’m so grateful and proud of the actors and staff who endured this hard process together. Park Seo-joon appears in the movie “Dream” as Hong-dae, who becomes the coach of the national football team of homeless people as an opportunity to revive his career after facing the biggest crisis in his football player life. Expressing his feelings after finishing the filming for “Dream”, Park Seo-joon said, “This is finally the end of ‘Dream’’s long journey. Lee Ji-eun plays the role of So-min, a producer with a dream of a successful turnaround in her life, who films a documentary about the national football team of homeless people from their formation until they challenge the Homeless World Cup. Showing her affection for the movie “Dream”, Lee Ji-eun said, “It was my first time filming a feature film. I have more memories of it than any other work, so I think I will remember this work for a really long time. When I was acting as So-min, I had a bright and light feeling. It was a good time for me, too. I hope audiences can laugh a lot with “Dream” and feel the warmth delivered through its story.”
