The 5th death anniversary of the late Kim Joo Hyuk, “2 Days & 1 Night” Kim Jun Ho also visited his grave
It has been five years since the late actor Kim Joo Hyuk passed away. His colleagues from the entertainment industry also visited his grave to pay tribute.
Kim Joo Hyuk passed away in a car accident near Yeongdong-daero, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on October 30th, 2017. He was 45 years old at the time. According to the police, the vehicle that Kim Joo Hyuk was driving collided with another vehicle on a road in Samseong-dong at the time. The deceased was taken directly to the hospital after the accident but eventually passed away.
Earlier, actor Han Jung Soo visited Kim Joo Hyuk’s grave ahead of his fifth death anniversary. He said, “I went to Joo Hyuk yesterday because I had work on Oct 30th this year. Thank you always, Joo Hyuk,” he recalled the deceased with a bright smile.
Kim Dong Sik, CEO of Namu Actors, also visited the grave of the deceased to greet him. CEO Kim said, “When I arrived at Seosan Graveyard, Kim Joon Ho and Ki Jin, who had been together with him on KBS 2TV’s ‘1 Night and 2 Days,’ already came,” adding, “Such consistent people… I was glad and thankful. “I’d like to thank Joo Hyuk’s long-time fan, who is a professor, for brings such pretty flowers every year when he comes to this graveyard, and I’d like to thank all the fans who visit this place,” he said.
Also, CEO Kim said, “The death of a young person is always heartbreaking. As I prayed for Joo Hyuk’s repose today, I prayed for the condolences and repose of the young victims who passed away in Itaewon yesterday. I’ll come back next year to visit you, my brother whom I love and miss,” he added.
Netizens also shared how they missed the actor, and continued a wave of remembrance, saying, “I’ve always missed you,” “I talked about you today as well,” and “I wish you rest in peace there.”
Meanwhile, Kim Joo Hyuk, the son of the late actor Kim Moo-saeng, made his debut through the 8th SBS open talent recruitment in 1998. He appeared in the movies “YMCA Baseball Team”, “When Romance Meets Destiny”, “My Wife Got Married”, “In Love And War”, “Confidential Assignment”, “Believer”, and the dramas “Lovers in Prague”, “Hur Jun, The Original Story” and “Argon”. Kim Joo Hyuk has appeared in various works regardless of genre and was recognized in many ways.
Kim Joo Hyuk was also active in entertainment shows. He helped raise the popularity of the programs he appeared in with his great performance, creating various nicknames such as “The Icon of Misfortune” on KBS 2TV’s entertainment show “2 Days 1 Night Season 3.”
