A moment of excessive guard was spotted at boy group NCT DREAM’s departure site.
On May 12th, NCT DREAM members Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Haechan, Chenle and Jisung departed from Incheon International Airport, Jung-gu, Incheon for “NCT DREAM TOUR ‘THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A DREAM’ MACAU”.
As NCT DREAM is an influential group not only in Korea but also abroad, numerous fans gathered at the site to see them even for a short time. While popular idol groups walk to the departure hall, it is common for fans and the media to accompany them. However, there are also bodyguards to secure that no casualties happen in this process.
On Twitter, a video of a fan who was taking pictures from afar spread rapidly. In the video, a bodyguard guarding the members pushed the fan violently, making her fall down.
After the fan fell, the sound of bumping into the fire extinguisher box was heard. The video also showed NCT DREAM Haechan passing by.
The Twitter user who posted the video said, “Is this fan okay? It’s not even close… Can’t she take pictures from afar? (The bodyguard) is overreacting.”
As of 5 PM on May 13th, the video is rapidly spreading on Twitter with 3,300 retweets, 4,600 quotations and 800 likes.
Netizens showed various reactions such as “That’s an assault“, “Isn’t this too much?“, “No matter how much fans want to take pictures, it’s best to avoid such a situation“…
