“Taxi Drivers 2” successfully surpassed Season 1’s viewer rating peak after airing 10 episode

“Taxi Driver 2”, starring Lee Je Hoon, is gaining explosive popularity.

According to the rating research company Nielsen Korea on March 26th, episode 10 of SBS’s Fri-Sat drama “Taxi Driver 2”, which aired on March 25th, achieved a nationwide viewer rating of 17.7%. This is the highest rating record of the whole season. In addition, it also surpassed the rating peak of 16% in Season 1.

“Taxi Driver 2” real-time rating even soared to 20.9%, ranking 1st among all the programs aired on the same day. On the 2049 chart, the drama recorded 6.8%, topping the ranking of programs broadcasted on all channels in the whole week.

Starting impressively with a high rating of 12.1% in episode 1 on the 17th of last month, “Taxi Driver” continued its upward trend to reach the current peak of 17% in episode 10, raising expectations for better performances in the remaining episodes.

Episode 10 showed members of Rainbow Taxi Company proving their perfect teamwork by carrying out a team mission to punish the evil doctor who makes money from patients’ lives.

Kim Do Ki (Lee Je Hoon) subdued hospital director Ahn by force then put her under anesthesia and made her lie on the operating table to face the fears of being betrayed that her patients suffered.

“Taxi Driver 2” airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m.
