SBS’s flagship Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3 continues its impressive streak, dominating its time slot once again with soaring viewership ratings. The latest episode reached a peak nationwide rating of 15.4%, with 12.6% in the Seoul metro area and an average 11.6% nationwide setting a new personal best for the series. Additionally, it led all networks in the coveted 2049 (viewers aged 20~49) demographic, averaging 4.2% and peaking at 4.91%, further solidifying its status as Korea’s leading drama.

Building on this momentum, the show teased its third major villain for Season 3 played by Eum Moon Suk who is expected to make his chilling debut in episode 5. A special poster released on December 1 has generated buzz across online platforms. In the image, Eum Moon Suk’s character Cheon Gwang Jin appears with disheveled long hair tied back, a bold patterned suit, and dark-rimmed glasses, flashing a confident yet unnerving smile. The poster hints at the sinister secrets he holds, especially in connection to a mysterious murder case within the Mindong University volleyball team with no body ever found.

Last week’s episode featured Yoon Shi Yoon as the second villain, portraying Cha Byung Jin, a former lawyer turned leader of a used-car scam cartel. His chilling performance and dual nature captivated viewers and added new layers of intensity to the drama.

According to the production team, “Eum Moon Suk, known for his standout villain roles in The Fiery Priest and The Roundup, will once again deliver a spine-chilling performance that blends noir and dark humor. His dramatic reversal and fierce action scenes with Lee Je Hoon will be a major highlight.” The team also asked fans to stay tuned and look forward to the upcoming twists.

Taxi Driver 3 follows the secret operations of the enigmatic Rainbow Taxi Company, with protagonist Kim Do Gi (played by Lee Je Hoon) executing personal vengeance on behalf of wronged victims. Episode 5 is set to air at 9:50 PM on December 5, promising high-octane action and psychological drama as the latest villain takes the stage.
