SBS’s Taxi Driver 3” has unveiled the first behind-the-scenes still cuts of beloved engineer duo Choi (Jang Hyuk Jin) and Park (Bae Yoo Ram), signaling the long-awaited return of the comic relief team, affectionately known as “The Chiefs.”
Set to premiere on November 21, the third season continues the story inspired by the webtoon of the same name. The drama revolves around the secretive Rainbow Taxi Company and its mysterious driver Kim Do Gi, who carries out private revenge missions on behalf of victims who can’t get justice through the law.
Since its debut, the Taxi Driver series has been a ratings hit, peaking at a 21% viewership rating, placing it fifth among all Korean dramas aired on terrestrial and cable networks in 2023. It also clinched Best Drama Series at the 28th Asian Television Awards, cementing its reputation as one of the region’s most acclaimed shows.

Returning in full force, the original Rainbow Squad Lee Je Hoon (Kim Do Gi), Kim Eui Sung (CEO Jang), Pyo Ye Jin (Go Eun), Jang Hyuk Jin (Chief Choi), and Bae Yoo Ram (Chief Park) are back, bringing fans exactly what they’ve been craving.
In the newly released still cuts, Choi and Park are seen in their mechanic uniforms, ready to tinker and bicker their way through another season of revenge. Formerly part of a cutting-edge automotive team and an elite aircraft maintenance crew, respectively, Choi and Park serve as Rainbow Taxi’s all-around problem solvers or as fans like to call them, the “MacGyvers” of the operation.
Their quirky bromance full of petty arguments, mutual dependence, and hilarious chemistry adds warmth and comic relief to the action-heavy plot. Whether it’s Choi backing down from their de facto boss Go Eun or Park being roped into yet another wild mission by Do Gi, the duo never fails to entertain.
One image shows the two joyfully posing in front of caricatures, only to break out into a mock scuffle moments later a perfect encapsulation of their chaotic synergy. As always, their scenes promise comedic timing, heartfelt teamwork, and an indispensable contribution to the emotional and narrative depth of the show.
With their return, Taxi Driver 3 promises to deliver even more thrilling action and laughter, reigniting the series’ signature blend of justice, tech wizardry, and heartfelt humor.
