Tang Wei shocked everyone with her revealing dress at Cannes, even her husband Kim Tae-yong would be surprised
On May 23rd, superstars Tang Wei, Park Hae Il and director Park Chan Wook of the movie “Decision To Leave” appeared on the red carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
As the official contestant for The Palme d’Or at Cannes this year, “Decision To Leave” announces the return of director Park Chan Wook 6 years after his work “The Handmaiden” in 2016. The movie tells the story of a detective named Hae Joon (Park Hae Il), who is in charge of investigating a mysterious murder in the mountain. When arriving at the scene, the detective meets the deceased victim’s Seo Rae (Tang Wei), and starts having conflicted feelings with this woman.
The appearance of actress Tang Wei at Cannes on May 23rd immediately got all the spotlight on her as she hasn’t appeared in public for quite a long time after getting married to director Kim Tae Yong and had their first child.
Despite being in her 43, Tang Wei still mesmerized everyone with her gorgeous visual and ethereal vibe on the red carpet. According to director Park Chan Wook, he wrote the script for “Decision To Leave” with Tang Wei and Park Hae Il, and he has decided to choose them for the lead roles even before the script was finished.
“Decision To Leave” is scheduled to premiere in Korea on June 29th.
