Taeyeon proves undeniable influence with 18,000 audiences at solo concert 

Taeyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation, affirms her status as a soloist with 18,000 audience members at “The Odd Of Love” concert. 

According to Korean Times, Taeyeon is one of the golden voices in the K-pop industry. She started her singing career at the age of 18. With a unique singing voice and ability to convey emotions through music, the singer rose to be a famous idol of second-generation K-pop.


When Taeyeon turned 13, she found her calling in music and has been steady with it for 16 years. Her resilience comes hand in hand with success. During her activities in Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon enjoys a blooming music career. Later, she reached stardom as a solo artist through several hits. As a result of hard work, she received the various prestigious awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, the Seoul Music Awards, and the Golden Disk Awards.


At 34, she has not stopped dedicating to music and her fans. Recently, her “The Odd Of Love” concert was held and filled to the brim with show-stopping performances. The “INVU” singer proves a powerful voice and impressive dancing skills in electrifying stages. Moreover, to be able to hold performances at the KSPO Dome is already an achievement in itself.


According to SM Entertainment, this is Taeyeon’s first solo concert after 3 years and 5 months after her “Taeyeon concert – The Unseen” in January 2020. After years of postponement due to the pandemic, the singer brought back the annual concert with improved quality and scope. Two concert nights at the KSPO Dome were sold out completely, drawing 18,000 concert-goers.


Not only loved by fans, but Taeyeon is also the idol of many idols. When the concert took place, many idols were seen in the audience seats. There were other Girls’ Generation members, YoonA, Soo Young, Tiffany, and Hyo Yeon, JYJ Jae Joong, SHINee Minho and Taemin, LE SSERAFIM Yu Jin, Leeseo, Liz, and Gaeul, NCT Doyoung, and SEVENTEEN Dino, Seungkwan, Hoshi, and Vernon.

“The Odd Of Love” concert will continue in Hong Kong on June 10 and in Taiwan on June 24.
