On May 19, Taeyang appeared on the popular YouTube comedy channel Psick University in a video titled: “[Korean Subtitles] Asking Taeyang If He Missed Everyone So Much”
During the episode, Taeyang chatted comfortably with the channel’s hosts and surprised viewers with his fluent English while greeting international fans.
Comedian Lee Yong Joo then asked how he became so good at English.
Taeyang explained: “I learned from a young age. Many of my seniors lived in America.”
The conversation quickly turned toward Tablo, who is well known for his bilingual fluency and international background. As soon as Tablo’s name was mentioned, Taeyang jokingly confessed: “I use that hyung a lot… like ChatGPT.”
The unexpected comparison immediately made everyone burst into laughter.
Taeyang continued by sharing funny details about their conversations: “If I suddenly send him messages in English, he asks, ‘Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?’”
He added that whenever he asks Tablo to teach him English, the Epik High member kindly helps him. “He teaches me really well. He’s nice. Thank you, Tablo hyung.”
Fans online loved the relaxed interaction between the artists, especially because Tablo had previously joked on his own content that Taeyang seemed to treat him “like ChatGPT” already.
