Epik High’s Tablo gave fans a glimpse into his relatable dad life, revealing that his teenage daughter Haru sometimes transforms into what he calls his “Zombie Daughter.”
In a video uploaded on July 17 to Epik High’s YouTube channel, titled “Asking Jo Jung Suk What He’d Do If Gummy Became a Zombie”, actor Jo Jung Suk joined Tablo to discuss his upcoming movie My Daughter Is a Zombie and shared a candid conversation between two “fathers with daughters”.

Jo Jung Suk expressed affection for Tablo’s daughter, saying “She’s so cute. I want to meet her.” This prompted Tablo to open up about Haru, now 15 and in the full swing of teenage moods. “There’s a reason I relate to the term ‘Zombie Daughter.’ You know that fierce look only zombies can give? Sometimes my daughter has that,” Tablo joked.
He described how each day starts with uncertainty. “If I walk into the living room and she says, ‘Dad, did you sleep well?’—that’s my daughter. But if I say, ‘Haru, did you sleep well?’ and she gives me a cold glare… that’s Zombie Daughter.”
Tablo reenacted Haru’s icy expression, leaving Jo Jung Suk laughing in agreement. He added that on such days, he warns his wife, actress Kang Hye-jung, saying “Haru’s fierce today. Don’t talk to her. Just stay in the room.”

Jo Jung Suk, who also has a young daughter with singer Gummy, nodded knowingly: “You just have to read the room.”
Tablo wrapped up the segment by saying, “Teenage girls really do have their zombie moments. You don’t need an actual apocalypse.”
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk’s movie My Daughter Is a Zombie is set to hit theaters on July 30.
