On July 18, the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place at Paradise City Hotel in Incheon and the red carpet was a spectacle of surprises.
Opening the carpet were Jun Hyun-moo and Im Yoon-ah, who have co-hosted the event for four consecutive years. But just as the cameras started rolling, Im Yoon-ah experienced a minor mishap. While adjusting her voluminous gradient bead dress, she lost her balance and fell. Gracefully recovering with a smile, she struck a pose like a true professional, winning over fans and press alike.
Next up was Claudia Kim (Soo-hyun), who wore a sleek black off-shoulder gown. As she made her way down the carpet, she accidentally stepped on her own dress and stumbled. Thankfully, she managed to maintain her composure and continued to pose confidently, despite the scare.
Comedienne Lee Soo-ji brought a dose of humor to the event. Wearing a pink gown, she unexpectedly grabbed her bodyguard’s wrist as she exited the vehicle. The surprised guard smoothly joined her for a red carpet pose, turning the moment into a charming photo-op that had everyone smiling.
Meanwhile, MMA fighter and entertainer Choo Sung-hoon had a foggy situation of his own. Hoping to walk the carpet with flair, he was thwarted by fogged-up glasses, chilled by his car’s air conditioning. He walked the carpet while repeatedly removing and wiping his glasses, drawing laughs rather than gasps.
Actress Jung Eun-chae dazzled in a black off-shoulder gown but faced an awkward moment when a black nipple cover matching her dress color became visible. Against her porcelain skin, it drew noticeable attention—an unfortunate wardrobe oversight on an otherwise elegant look.
From sky-high heels to tight or flowy dresses, the stars did their best to impress fans with stunning visuals. Despite the series of unexpected mishaps, no one was hurt—and the lighthearted incidents only added to the charm and entertainment of the evening.
