Surpassing Girls’ Generation members, No.1 on August Girl Group Member Brand Reputation rankings is? 

This August, Girls’ Generation created a buzz with their 1st comeback in 5 years, but this female idol topped the brand reputation rankings for girl group members. 

The Korean Business Reputation Research Institute analyzed 13,239,6717 girl group big data from July 21st to August 21st and announced the final rankings of August girl group member brand reputation earlier today. 

Accordingly, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took first place with a brand reputation index of 5,141,766. Her brand reputation index rose 43.80% compared to the previous month. 

Following Jennie, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona with a brand reputation index of 4,574,344 ranked 2nd place, New Jeans’ Minji (4,096,329) was 3rd place, Oh My Girl’s Mimi (3,972,967) was 4th place, and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon (3,901,642) ranked 5th place. 

As such, Jennie beat all the members of Girls’ Generation, who made a highly-anticipated full-group comeback with a new album after 5 years this August.

Highest-ranked terms in Jennie’s link analysis are “comeback”, “chic” and “sexy”. Highest-ranked phrases in her keyword analysis are “Pink Venom”, “YouTube”, and “world tour”. All of which are related to BLACKPINK’s first comeback after a 2-year hiatus.

Specifically, Jennie’s brand consumption rose by 177.05%, brand issue decreased by 19.45%, brand communication increased by 112.83%, and brand expansion rose by 20.21%. Jennie’s positivity-negativity ratio recorded 89.16% positive reactions.
