Singer Park Bo-ram, who rose to fame through "Superstar K", suddenly passed away

On April 12th, Park Bo-ram’s agency Xanadu Entertainment officially announced, “We have received devastating and heartbreaking news. Late in the night of April 11th, Park Bo-ram suddenly left us.”

They continued, “All fellow artists and staff members are deeply mourning the loss in profound sadness. It is even more heart-wrenching to deliver this sudden news to the fans who have been supporting Park Bo-ram.”

Lastly, they added, “Funeral arrangements will be made after consulting with the family, and we once again express our deepest condolences as Park Bo-ram embarks on her final journey.”

Park Bo-ram’s sudden death has shocked the music industry, and the police are investigating the cause of death.

Born in 1994, Park Bo-ram gained recognition after appearing on Mnet’s audition program “Superstar K2” in 2010, showcasing outstanding vocal abilities and confidence.

She officially debuted in 2014 with “Beautiful”, and subsequently released songs like “Pretty Bae”, “Celepretty”, “Why, You?” and “Will Be Fine”. She also made headlines for her significant weight loss after “Superstar K2”.

Recently, in celebration of her 10th debut anniversary, she released the duet “I Hope” with Huh Gak, the winner of “Superstar K2”. On April 3rd, she released the new song “I miss you”.
