Super Junior’s Kyuhyun Reveals Secrets Behind His Seniority, “I’m Always Determined To Work Hard”

Super Junior member Kyuhyun talked about how he has continued his career for a long time

Kyuhyun recently participated in the recording of “Come Together Music Fest” Episode 3 and met with local musicians from Daejeon, Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Gangwon to have a sincere discussion about music.

Joo Ji-ho, a member of the band Tasty Shop, asked Kyuhyun about how to be loved by the public for a long time. In response, Kyuhyun said, “Many people may think I have no slump during the past 18 years of my career. First of all, I’m one of the Super Junior members. Even if I took the subway, no one recognized me. When the members were busy with their individual schedules, I was alone at the dorm”.

He continued, “That’s why I thought I should always be ready. I was determined to work hard until my whole body burns if I ever get any opportunity someday”, adding “After doing activities for 4-5 years, I got the chance to promote myself once or twice. No matter what opportunity came, I was always willing to grab it and work hard. I’m still doing the same thing right now. I’m doing my best to not lose my determination.”

Listening to Kyuhyun’s confession, MC Jung Dong-hwan said, “Kyuhyun is really a great senior singer who has been leading such an amazing life”, adding “How can you still have time to drink alcohol in the middle of your busy schedules… I can’t help but wonder how that is possible. I also want to be like you”, drawing laughter.

“Come Together Music Fest” is a program jointly created by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency. Episode 3 will be released via SBS M on October 18th.
