Sunye, “Moving home from Canada to Korea was so tiring that I almost died. It’s very convenient in Korea”
The broadcast of MBC FM4U’s radio program “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope” on February 1st featured Sunye and Kim Da Hyun, the leading actors of the musical “Luth”.
“Being a mother/father of three children” was mentioned as the common thing between Sunye and Kim Da Hyun. It is true that each of them is raising three children.
In the case of Kim Da Hyun, his children are currently 15, 11 and 7 years old. The actor confessed, “I think this year will be very spectacular for me. My first child is now in the second year of middle school. What should I do with this? How can I get along with this kid? I returned home after doing recycling this morning. I sat at my desk at 7 o’clock and wondered, ‘What’s wrong with the kid?’.”
Kim Da Hyun continued, “My first son listens well and studies well”. He proudly bragged, “I think he takes after me in appearance. His hair is like my wife’s”.
Sunye said her daughters, who turned 11, 8, and 5 this year, had definitely found out the fact she used to be an idol. When Kim Shin Young said kids around 5-8 years old often quarrel, Sunye replied, “That’s right”, adding “The youngest keeps annoying her older sisters. She’s a maknae on top”.
Kim Shin Young said, “You went back to Korea for the musical. There must have to pack lots of luggage when moving home from Canada to Korea”. In response, Sunye complained. “I almost died. I don’t want to move home from country to country anymore. I respect all the house-moving businesses in Korea”.
When asked about the good point of returning to Korea, Sunye said, “The convenience in our country? It’s very convenient. Korea provides a good environment for the people”.
Meanwhile, Kim Da Hyun was born in 1980 and he debuted in 1999 as a member of the group Yada. In 2008, he married former MC/reporter Kim Mi Kyung and has three children.
Sunye made her debut in 2007 with the girl group Wonder Girls. In 2013, she married James Park, a Korean-Canadian missionary who is five years older than her, and has three daughters.
