The police have not set the schedule for the summon of G-Dragon on drug charges

At a regular meeting on October 30th, an official from the National Police Agency mentioned the time to call actor Lee Sun-kyun to the police for another question following the first time, saying “We haven’t decided the time”. Regarding G-Dragon’s summon, they said, “We are still in the process of confirming details of his drug charges and have not yet entered the stage of considering a summon”.

The National Police Agency official explained, “The investigations are being conducted quickly in various ways, including securing statements related to them (Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon), mobile phone forensic results, as well as search and seizures”.

The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency reportedly sent Lee Sun-kyun’s hair and urine to the National Forensic Service for a thorough examination to check whether Lee Sun-kyun really took drugs.

The police official said, “It normally takes 2-3 weeks for results to come out”, adding “We are waiting for the results and urging the National Forensic to quickly conduct examinations”.

Meanwhile, the police have recently booked a total of five people, including Lee Sun-kyun, G-Dragon, a hostess bar director (arrested), an employee of the same hostess bar and a doctor, on charges of administering illegal drugs.

Five other people, including Namyang Dairy founder’s granddaughter Hwang Ha-na, former YG Entertainment trainee Han Seo-hee, and Han Seo-hee’s ex-lover Jung Da-eun, are under internal investigations.

In addition, the police also confirmed that no other celebrities were investigated in relation to this case.
