In an interview with GQ KOREA, Chun Woo-hee revealed how thorough her values in acting are. She said, “I always try to be sincere when acting. Of course it’s fiction, but when I belong to it, I think it’s real. I believe in that world. I believe that it will be delivered to viewers only if I put my heart into it.”
She added, “There are times when I become calm as experience points are accumulated. I don’t like myself being calm and insensitive. I’d rather get hurt, get sick and choose to like what I like. Having another baby after giving birth is because you forget the pain. I think I’m forgetting like that, too. If I keep embracing the pain or wounds I’ve suffered from acting, I won’t be able to continue this job. So in some ways, forgetting seems to be the way to do this job purely.”
