“Street Man Fighter” Just Jerk x Choi Soo-jin received the highest points of 96.83… BoA gave harsh comments on Mbitious’s stage
The semi-final mission was held on the recent broadcast of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter”.
Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter”, which aired on October 25th, the crews were given the mission to set up joint stages with their muses. PROWDMON & HOOK dancers, national Latin dancers, modern dancers and even ballerinas showed up as muses. In addition, various dancing experts appeared in the audience seats whose scores are added up to give out the average score.
Bank Two Brothers and PROWDMON set up a simple yet artistic stage. They decorated a colorful performance and even shed happy tears, showing off their unique charms. We Dem Boyz and HOOK presented a musical-like stage by organizing what they do best. Joined by a Latin choreographer and a dance sports team, 1MILLION’s performance was praised for their excellent presentation of a combination of difficult moves.
Mbitious and Just Jerk received evaluations with completely different atmospheres. Ambitious performed with Lachika but failed to catch the eyes of the audience. BoA commented, “I’m sorry that I have to say this, but it feels like Mbitious are on Lachica’s stage as backup dancers”. Eun-hyuk added, “The Tarzan concept should be impactful. But since the Tarzans took off their clothes, the performance looked weak”.
On the contrary, Just Jerk was the team that excited the viewers and aroused favorable reviews. Choi Soo-jin, the world-class modern dancer who made her name known through Dancing9, appeared on the stage as their muse. The collaboration between Just Jerk, the crew that is famous for their sharp choreographies and various dancing genres, such as poppin’ and waacking, and Choi Soo-jin, whose goal is to achieve the highest level of arts, looked difficult at first. However, leader Young J devoted all his heart to modifying the dance and even the music to complete a well-made performance.
As a result, they showcased a spectacular stage. A stage that was perfect to the point that it thrilled everyone was born. Eunhyuk clapped his hands and exclaimed, “Aren’t these people crazy?”. Wooyoung agreed, “Isn’t this a work of arts? It’s a masterpiece”. BoA also said, “I want to see them dancing right on the scene”, pouring out compliments.
However, the result of the elimination is still undecided since there are also extra points given to the teams in the mission of creating Rain’s new song choreography and the scores from the judges in the ‘Muses of Street Man Fighter’ fight.
