“Street Man Fighter” Dancer Denied Inappropriate Relationship with Minor, Temporary Halts Activities

The leader of a famous dance crew on “Street Man Fighter” got accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

Young-J, the leader of dance crew Just Jerk, which participated in “Street Man Fighter”, recently became involved in various controversies.

In particular, Young-J was accused of dating a minor and even got her pregnant. At that time, in an interview with one media outlet, Young-J explained that he started dating his girlfriend after she became an adult, but he did not provide additional answers regarding the pregnancy and abortion rumors. It was also revealed that Young-J’s girlfriend left Just Jerk in February.

Now, according to a TenAsia investigation on April 18, Young-J plans to temporarily suspend his activities at the Just Jerk Academy, where he serves as the representative. All dance classes scheduled for this year have also been suspended.

Until now, Young-J has been conducting classes at the Just Jerk Academy’s Hapjeong and Ewha branches every other Thursday at 8:40 p.m. This month, classes were scheduled at the Hapjeong branch on the 11th and 25th, but recently, Just Jerk announced a new timetable. Young-J’s vacant spot has been filled by other dancers.

The Just Jerk Academy stated, “Young-J will not be teaching classes this year. We heard he’s taking a break.”

At the same time, there are also rumors that he has been absent from the academy itself, not just from classes.

Young-J himself admitted to suspending his teaching activities. When asked if he was preparing for marriage with his girlfriend during this break, he explained, “It’s for various reasons. I’m meeting my girlfriend well. We’re continuing our relationship in good circumstances.”

When asked for additional information about his girlfriend’s alleged pregnancy, Young-J indirectly refused to comment, saying he was “at an event.” He also hastily ended the conversation.

On the other hand, Young-J founded Just Jerk with J-Ho in December 2010,. The team gained recognition in 2016 and has since elevated their reputation to the one of highest levels in the industry.

Subsequently, Just Jerk appeared on the Mnet dance show “Street Man Fighter” aired in 2022 and became the final winner.
