Recently, Chinese netizens took to Weibo to accuse a blogger known as “Ye Paris,” who has over 11.13 million followers, of forcing two female streamers under their management into a tank containing a crocodile during a livestream. The incident caused visible distress, with both women screaming and showing signs of panic, quickly drawing widespread attention online. The blogger’s Weibo account was subsequently suspended.
According to a report by Hongxing News, a viral video circulating on Weibo shows the two streamers being made to enter the tank. Although the crocodile inside was not particularly large, both women huddled in one corner, trembling in fear. One of them appeared especially overwhelmed, shutting her eyes tightly and screaming non-stop.

Another clip revealed an even more alarming scene, where a female streamer was tied with a rope and pushed underwater while someone held her head down. The situation appeared extremely dangerous, prompting strong reactions from viewers. Some commented, “How is this not considered attempted murder?” while others raised concerns that the livestream’s audience included minors, warning that such content could lead to harmful imitation.
Reports indicated that the crocodile-related footage originated from a 2025 livestream and that the platform had already imposed penalties at the time. However, as the video resurfaced and went viral again, many users reported the account for spreading dangerous content. On April 23, the Weibo account of “Ye Paris” was permanently banned.

As of now, Guangzhou Jiahuo Media, the company managing “Ye Paris,” has yet to release an official statement regarding the controversy.
