Stories behind late Choi Jin Sil’s mother being accused of trespassing by granddaughter, “It was Joon Hee who hit me”
Choi Joon Hee, daughter of the late Choi Jin Sil, reportedly accused her maternal grandmother of trespassing.
On July 11th, The Fact exclusively reported that Choi Joon Hee’s maternal grandmother Jung Ok Sook had been taken to the Seoul Seocho Police Station at around 1 a.m. and investigated on the charge of trespassing until 5 a.m. on the 9th.
According to reports, Jung went to apartment G in Seocho-dong, Seoul on the 7th after receiving a call from her grandson Choi Hwan Hee. It was the apartment that the late Choi Jin Sil had purchased to live with her family. Jung reportedly lived there until last year.
After the death of their mother Choi Jin Sil, and father Jo Sung Min, the house was jointly inherited by their children and Choi Hwan Hee currently lives there. Choi Joon Hee lives in a separate studio apartment.
Choi Hwan Hee asked his grandmother Jung to take care of the cats at the house because he had to be away from home for 3-4 days due to work. For two days, Jung cleaned the house, did laundry, and prepared side dishes.
Then at around 10 p.m. on the night of the incident, Joon Hee and her boyfriend came to the house and saw Jung. There was a confrontation when Joon Hee asked Jung to leave. Eventually, Joon Hee reported Jung to the police as a trespassing case.
Jung explained the situation to the police dispatched to the scene after receiving the report, but still had to leave the house after being informed that it would be considered trespassing if she entered without permission from the co-owner of the house.
In the past, Joon Hee once sparked controversy by claiming on her social media that her grandmother habitually abused her. In this regard, Jung said, “I only scolded her to discipline her”, adding “In fact, as Joon Hee grew older, she often hits me and threatens me. It was a family matter, so I didn’t disclose it to the public. However, my injuries, such as fractured bones, were so severe that I had to get hospitalized for a month.”
It is reported that the properties are directly managed by Choi Jin Sil’s children Choi Hwan Hee and Choi Joon Hee.
After losing her daughter Choi Jin Sil and son Choi Joon Young, Jung took care of her grandchildren. After she completed her role as guardian for her minor grandchildren ended, she moved to a residential area near Cheonggyesan Mountain and has been living alone since October last year.
