“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” continued to break its own highest ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 4 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” aired on July 7th recorded an average nationwide rating of 5.2%. The highest real-time rating rose to 6.4%, maintaining the drama’s 1st place among all Wed-Thu dramas on all channels.
The popularity of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is also reflected in the stock market. The stock price of AStory, the production company of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, is rising day after day.
According to Korea Exchange on July 7th, AStory closed at 24,350 won, up 1,550 won (6.80%) from the previous trading day. The day before, it closed at 22,800 won, up 4% from the previous trading day. The stock price rose 36.8% from July 4th to this day.
As of 11 am KST today (July 8th), AStory is trading at 27,050 won, up again from the previous day. This is a steep rise compared to the lowest point recorded during the day on June 24th (16,050 won).
This is gaining attention as it contradicts the recent fluctuations and downward trend in the domestic stock market.
