Stealer: The Treasure Keeper

“Stealer: The Treasure Keeper” is Joo Won’s return drama after three years. At the age of 36, the male actor exudes strong masculinity and a hard-earned physique. He plays Hwang Dae Myung, a civil servant of the Special Investigation Division of the Cultural Heritage Administration. He has bright personality, with a bit of a clumsy side. He has a chilled life with not much work to do. What comes as a surprise is Dae Myung’s alternate persona: a thief specializes in cultural assets under the name, Skunk.

Skunk’s real identity is protected with a black suit and special mask. Rumor has it that Skunk only steals artifacts acquired by high-ranking officials or the elite through illegal means. Skunk works with a team called “Team Karma”, who operates as an unofficial cultural asset recovery team.

The double life creates two alternate images that Joo Won has the chance to challenge himself. As Skunk, the audience feels a strong resemblance to the infamous Marvel anti-hero Deadpool.

The drama gathers other actors such as Lee Joo Woo, Jo Han Chul, Kim Jae Won and Choi Hwa Jung.
