Stars with ‘worst’ fashion this week: Lee Seung Gi, Ahn Hee Yeon, Kim Young Kwang, Lee Sung Kyung, Jung Yu Mi
YTN Star looked at the fashion of singers and actors who appeared in public over the past week and listed out those with the worst styles.
Lee Seung Gi, Ahn Hee Yeon, Kim Young Kwang, Lee Sung Kyung, and Jung Yu Mi were unfortunately picked as ‘worst dressers’ this week.
First of all, Lee Seung Gi, who recently announced his marriage with Lee Da In, left for Dubai to film TVing’s program “Bromarble”. Ahn Hee Yeon, formerly known as Hani of EXID, Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sung Kyung attended the press conference for Disney+’s original series “Call It Love”. Finally, Jung Yu Mi joined the cast of tvN’s “Jinny’s Kitchen” at the show’s press conference.
◆ Lee Seung Gi
His outfits look warm and comfortable but they are too normal. Both his jacket and pants are overfitted, making his body look big. His light green glittering mask and yellow shoes don’t match the whole all-white set at all.
What if he wore jeans? What if the shoes weren’t yellow? Shouldn’t he choose items with white color to match his beanie and outerwear? Was this the best he could do?
It is understandable that Lee Seung Gi had to wear a hat because he recently shaved his hair for a movie shoot, but it would have been better if he had selected a different kind of hat for his loose outfits instead of a beanie.
◆ Ahn Hee Yeon
The light color and intense flower patterns of her set are okay, but the fit is quite disappointing. The pants are too long and easy to be stepped on, while the loose jacket made her beautiful waistline disappear.
Ahn Hee Yeon looked a bit sluggish in her “spring pajama” fashion. It didn’t feel like she was at a drama press conference, but a runway for an SS fashion show in the 70s or 80s. This style was successfully pulled off because it was worn by Ahn Hee Yeon.
◆ Kim Young Kwang
Rather than a bold fashion, it was too excessive when the actor tried to wear everything, including a sleeveless shirt, gold necklaces, loose pants, and a pair of sneakers that look like bathroom shoes, at once.
This outfit resembles the long-legged balloon man you sometimes see on the street. In addition, the loose-fitting jeans halved the advantage of Kim Young Kwang’s tall height. It’s also a shame he wore shoes that look like they’re made of rubber tires.
His outfit was very fashionable up to the outerwear. As soon as you lowered your eyes, expectations turned into disappointment. The jeans have no fit. The necklace is definitely a mismatch for his luxurious image.
◆ Lee Sung Kyung
A thick belt has the effect of making the waistline look thinner, but this belt doesn’t suit Lee Sung Kyung’s hooded dress. Every time she moves, the dark blue boundary line visible above the belt is unpleasant.
Did Lee Sung Kyung decide to match Kim Young Kwang with denim fashion that day? Even so, the leather belt that hides her tiny waist felt a bit excessive.
The denim dress is bizarre, too long, and covers up Lee Sung Kyung’s trademark chic charm. The design of the dress neckline is weird. The fit is unflattering. Her shoes are too flashy and not harmonious with the rest of the outfit.
◆ Jung Yu Mi
Jung Yu Mi’s dress has luxurious and elegant details, but the remaining items she wore ruin the overall look. If only she had gotten rid of the excessively voluminous hair, makeup that overly emphasized her eyes, and platform shoes that looked uncomfortable. The terrifying height of the heels seems to conflict with her petite and lovely charm.
Wearing this outfit at the press conference for “Jinny’s Kitchen”, Jung Yumi made it look like she was introducing an entertainment show set in the 1960s.
Her hairstyle and shoes seem to have gone backwards in time. Even if it’s a retro style, it doesn’t match Jung Yu Mi’s image.
